MORE THAN A MALL

At first glance, you might look at the Scarborough Town Centre (STC) and think that it’s just like any other mall but bigger. You’d be wrong

Along with being the 6th biggest mall in Canada, 3rd in the GTA, this mall is a community hub.

You can shop, eat, play, and more at this wonderful Scarborough landmark. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.

Stores

With more than 250 shops and services, STC is a fashion-forward destination for anyone looking for some retail therapy. If you’re looking for one stop shops, check out The Bay and Walmart. No matter what you’re looking for, these two giants are sure to be able to help you find it. If you’re in the market for something a little more niche, STC has you covered as well. For low cost, high fashion, you can visit our flagship H&M shop with all the trendiest looks for the season. Sephora’s flagship store can answer any makeup questions anyone in your family might have and Aritzia, Zara, and Michael Kors are all perfect spots to find that one piece that is sure to make everyone jealous. For the sportier people, there are huge lululemon, Foot Locker, and Adidas locations in the mall.

The mall has also recently added a MINISO which offers low priced products in a number of categories. Canadian boutique apparel company Frank and Oak has also just opened a store that will focus exclusively on their womenswear collections. There’s never been a better time to shop at the Scarborough Town Centre.

Play

>> While most malls would be content with just stores and food options, STC was designed to do more. This winter, every weekend the mall is home to a music series featuring up-and-coming musical talent from across the city. Lululemon also sponsors Sunday Morning Yoga in the mall and there is complimentary Tai Chi practice every Monday-Saturday from 7-9am at Centre Court.

Eat

>> No matter how you shop, you need to refuel. STC has 10 different sit down restaurants with a variety of menus that you can only usually expect to find at a food court. Speaking of food courts, if you’re not quite sure what you want to eat, or are just in a rush, the recently renovated Taste Mrkt is the place for you. It offers 25 different quick-service stalls, plus expanded seating and environmentally conscientious dish and cutlery service. STC isn’t done with your taste buds yet. If you need a caffeine or sugar pick-me-up to get you through those last few shops, there are over 20 different specialty food offerings available throughout the mall to help you with that final push.

Everyone who comes to the Scarborough Town Centre leaves happy. Since it’s so close to Tricycle, it’s bound to become a great part of your routine.
